There’s a saying that goes a little something like this. To be a writer, you have to be writing. This may be true. But I’ve found that you are a writer if you stop writing but can’t replace the urge to shape words into stories.
It’s funny how much one can miss crafting a new story when they are still knee deep in the editing process of a previous work. Is this common? I keep thinking of the next project even though I really need to finally finish this one. But I’m almost done. I’ll be back to writing soon. But until then, it’s editing I will go.
