Happy New Year! It’s 2017 already, can you believe it. I hope everyone is having a great start to 2017 thus far.
As I mentioned previously, I took a little break from writing on the manuscript I’ve come to dub Project Ham and Abel. (The manuscript I worked on for NaNoWriMo).That break ended up stretching the entire month of December. I can’t say I planned that. That’s probably a bad practice, but it was nice to use the free time for other projects and ventures I’m involved with. Also, the lather parts of December is Christmas time, or the holidays, whichever you prefer. It’s a time for celebration and family. So I don’t regret the break.
However, with all that said, it’s time to get back into form for the new year. Of course here at Remote Xpression, I will continue to deliver the usual movie reviews and opinions on entertainment mediums and Geek culture. Such was the impetus of why Remote Xpression was created.
But fandom is a two sided coin. On one side, there is admiration for Geek and Entertainment culture. Then on the other hand, there are those who dip into the creation aspects of those same mediums they love. For me, that happens to be writing. For some, it could be a number of other things such as directing, photography, role playing, etc. In 2017, Remote Xpression will be exploring both sides of the coin and branding out to help you express your creativity. I hope you enjoy the ride this year.
